The Pro Action Tent Was The Perfect Choice For Us

My little boy who is 6 really wanted to go camping, some of his friends at school had been talking about it and he really wanted to go.  I am a single parent and was a bit dubious about going on our own but seeing his face I thought why should he have to suffer just because I am too scared to do it alone.  I needed to do it for the both of us.  I took immediate action and called a local campsite I chose one close to home for our first experience and booked for 3 nights.  There was a swimming pool and lots of activities for us both to enjoy.

I went straight online to look for a tent, I didn’t have a clue what I was looking for or what would be best for  the two of us, all I knew is it couldn’t be too big as he was too young to help me put the tent up. I came across a 4 berth pro action tent for sale on the internet, it was a good price and looked perfect for what we needed.  I decided to buy it there and then.  The site guaranteed a delivery date of 7-10 days and I received it within a week after shopping for all the necessities we were ready to head off.

As we arrived at the campsite I was very nervous about putting the pro action tent up by myself but I couldn’t just stand there looking at it so I got to work.  Once I got going it wasn’t that difficult I managed to put the tent up in about 15 minutes and a nice kind man helped me to put the top covering on and peg it down for me.  The tent was up, the sun was shining and my little boy was really excited about meeting new friends and the activities he could do here.

The pro action tent was perfect for the two of us there was enough space in the sleeping area for two single blow up mattresses we both had our sleeping bags and it was very cosy.  The lounge area was big enough for what we had planned, it was a place to store our belongings.  We were obviously not going to be cooking in the tent but there was enough room to eat and play board games or cards there was adequate space.

I am so pleased that I got the confidence to go camping.  The pro action tent we brought was very easy to put up and we had an amazing time.  We both met plenty of people and the tent was snug and perfect for us.  There was a thunder storm one evening and the tent kept us nice and dry. I have definitely been converted and realise you can do these things if you are single.  I can’t wait to go back again next month.  We may even go further away from home next year.
